Lincoln-Douglas Debates
The Lincoln-Douglas debates were a series of debates, seven in total, debating topic pre-determined, each nominee trying to win a spot in the Illinois senate. The main topic discussed was the topic of slavery. In the end, the Democrats re-elected Douglas, narrowly winning the House of Representatives.
