Nathan Bedford Forrest
Nathan Bedford Forrest was a Confederate general during the American Civil War, and as the Grand Wizard for the Ku Klux Klan. He was one of the few people to enlist in the army as a private and gain the rank of a general officer. At the Battle of Fort Pillow, he was accused of war crimes due to his allowance of his troops to massacre a hundreds of black Union workers. He was also set in charge of a cavalry unit, in which the captured a Union artillery unit, then broke out of a siege headed by Ulysses Grant.
